Altdorf, Switzerland – Datwyler is acquiring German company Ott, which it said will add injection moulding expertise – with thermoplastics and liquid silicone – to the group’s Sealing Solutions division
The deal will strengthen and expand the Swiss group’s technology and product portfolio in the automotive and healthcare industry, said a 10 Aug Datwyler announcement.
Cleebronn-based Ott comprises Ott GmbH & Co. KG and Ott Geschäftsführungs GmbH. It employs 200 people and generates an annual revenue of around CHF33 million (€30 milliojn).
Founded in 1989, the German company specialises in toolmaking and producing injection-moulded parts made from thermoplastic and liquid silicone using single- and multi-component technology.
