Hamburg, Germany – The Harburg-Freudenberger Maschinenbau GmbH (HF group) has appointed Jörn Seevers as its managing director, effective 1 July.
Seevers joined HF in January 2014 as the head of the curing press department of the HF TireTech Group.
Between 2014 and 2015 he served as the managing director of the group’s “largest production facility” in Beliš?e, Croatia, HF said in a statement.
Since the beginning of 2016 Seevers has served on the supervisory board of HF Beliš?e.
Seevers began his career as a process engineer at Continental Tire AG in Hanover in 1999 and became head of the process and machine development department in 2004. In 2010, Seevers moved to Giti Tire in Shanghai, China, where he managed the central technology department and was the technical manager of the machine factory.
In the coming months Jens Beutelspacher, Günter Simon and Jörn Seevers will be the executive officers of the HF TireTech Group and the HF Press+LipidTech at its location in Hamburg, Germany.
Seevers will assume the duties of Simon when he retires from HF at the beginning of 2017.
