Kraiburg TPE Americas relocates, expands
Buford, Georgia – Kraiburg TPE Americas has announced the opening of its manufacturing facility in Buford, Georgia, to address the company’s growth ambitions.
The recebt relocation and expansion in Gwinnett County, said Kraiburg TPE, will allow for consistent production of its Thermolast K, A, Copec & For-Tec E product lines for automotive, consumer, medical and industrial applications.
The new 70,000 sq. ft. regional manufacturing facility will be relocated from Duluth to Buford, Georgia on 12.3 acres in the Hamilton Mill Business Park.
The company also expects an additional 9,000 sq. ft to be completed in 2018.
The facility will house the operations, sales & marketing, product development, controlling and IT departments.
Kraiburg TPE Americas said that the new facility will house a third production line to increase its capacity.
The company also announced a new sample line, to streamline lead times and production.
The facility is designed to house three production lines and 75 employees, with an additional capacity to expand to twice the original size and house up to eight production lines and over one 100 employees.
The company anticipates the facility will be sufficient to handle its needs in North America for the next 20-30 years.
