Frankfurt, Germany – The VDMA Plastics and Rubber Machinery Association and its member firms have set themselves the target of bringing Industry 4.0 to life with specific practical examples at K 2016.
They want to make the sector aware of which Industry 4.0 technologies are already being used in plastics and rubber machinery manufacturing today and highlight the advantages for the industry.
With a series of magazine programmes entitled “K 2016: the Kountdown has begun” they will in the months between now and the start of the fair be previewing what they will show at K 2016.
VDMA managing director Thorsten Kühmann says: “We are pleased to have found in Plas.TV a capable media partner for our communications before and at K 2016.
The series of films on Industry 4.0, which we have planned together, is designed to raise visitor awareness of the vast potential of digital networking for improving production efficiency in the run-up to the fair.”
