Continental restructures EMEA truck tire unit

Hanover, Germany – Continental AG’s truck tires replacement business in the (Europe, Middle East, Africa) EMEA restructured its activities as of the beginning of 2016, according to the firm.

The business unit separated its former joint positions of sales and marketing and now has new directors for each position, a company spokesman explained.

Barry Guildford has been appointed as sales director for truck tires, is a new function to coordinate all sales activities in the EMEA region.

Guilford began his career with the Continental market organisation in Great Britain in 2001 and has been marketing director for truck tires at Continental EMEA HQ since 2012.

Also, Daniel Gainza has been appointed as the new marketing director for the EMEA region.

Gainza joined Continental in 1998 and his most recent position was sales director at its market organisation in Italy, where he was responsible for the commercial vehicle tire sector.
