Geneva, Switzerland, – DuPont Fluoropolymer Solutions has raised prices for its fluoroplastics and fluoroelastomer products by up to 15 percent across EMEA. The increases are effective 1 April, or as contracts in place permit.
Announcing the move, the DuPont business said it was “committed to meeting current and future customer needs with a reliable supply of the highest quality fluoroproducts.”
The 2 April press statement went on to explain: “Fluoropolymer production is capital intensive and requires a high investment in safety. The Fluorine business continues to invest heavily in product innovation and environmentally friendly solutions as well as regulatory compliance including REACH.”
