Camberley Rubber extension boosts efficiency
ERJ Staff report (PR)
Aldershot, UK – Camberley Rubber Mouldings (CRM) has recently opened a new storage room sited at the back of its rubber moulding production facility at its factory in Aldershot.
The unit is equipped with a range of racks built specifically for storing our rubber compounds, materials and inserts.
The extension, said CRM, has freed up valuable internal space on the production floor, allowing it to centralise tooling storage elsewhere in the building.
This, added a company statement, provides “a perfect environment for the storage of rubber compounds - away from the presses and the heat of the factory.”
The project has also improved access for the company's goods received department – allowing personnel there to more easily take delivery of good inwards and distribute shipments throughout the factory.
The extension is one of a number of significant investments in the Aldershot rubber moulding facility over the last year, noted John Height, sales director at CRM.
“We have already seen a number improvements in the efficiency of operations,” said Height. “This latest improvement further demonstrates our commitment to maintaining our position [at the forefront of] the rubber mouldings industry for the UK and throughout Europe.”
