Marangoni goes underground with retreaded tires
ERJ staff report (TP)
Rovereto, Italy – Marangoni has expanded its range of retreaded earthmoving tires to include a specific design for mining vehicles.
The new profile, MRN, is manufactured using Recaflex technology, and has a deep, non-directional tread pattern.
The company said it has "excellent traction and high resistance to cuts and impact that may occur during operation in mines.”
Marangoni also presented improvements in its LISSE and MS profiles, which in size 18.00x25 are now manufactured not only for industrial handling applications, but also for retreading tires used on loaders operating in mines.
The new UGM version of the LISSE and MS 18.00R25 is intended for retreading on original casings, featuring a very deep tread pattern and a compound designed especially for mining applications.
For the last ten years the Italian company has been expanding its range of retreaded tires for transport vehicles used in quarries and open-cut and underground mines.
