ERIKS completes Maagtechnic acquisition

Alkmaar, The Netherlands – Industrial services group ERIKS NV of Alkmaar, has acquired all shares in the Maagtechnic Group. This acquisition from the Datwyler Group was formally completed on 1 April.
Based in Dubendorf, Switzerland, Maagtechnic provides products and services in areas including: Sealing, rubber and plastics technology; Flow and connection technology; Power transmission and drive technology; Tools, maintenance and safety products; and Logistics.
Maagtechnic has around 580 employees, and reported 2013 sales of CHF150m (€123m). The business includes operating companies in Switzerland, France, Germany and the Czech Republic.
With sales of about €1.8bn and 7,500 employees, ERIKS is part of SHV Holdings NV. Its portfolio is divided into five core activities: flow technology, sealing and rubber technology, industrial plastics, power transmission and bearings, and tools, maintenance and safety products.
