Trelleborg says 2013 'most profitable to date'

Trelleborg, Sweden – Trelleborg Group published its Annual Report 2013 on 19 March – describing 2013 as “the most profitable year to date”.
Sales and earnings increased and the operating margin was the highest to date. Trelleborg said it is “close to, or in line with, its long-term profitability targets”.
The group said this success was due to a “certain degree of recovery in the global economy”, focussing on selected segments and “persistent internal improvement”.
The main points of the 120-page report are as follows:
Net sales were 21,473m SEK (€2.42bn). An increase on 2012 – which was 21,262m SEK (€2.40bn).
Operating profit (“excluding items affecting comparability and the participation in TrelleborgVibracoustic”) was 2,613m SEK (€295.5m). In comparison, 2012 was 2,342m SEK (€264.8m).
