Positive picture for Pyrolyx at TTE 2014
ERJ staff report (TP)
Munich, Germany − Pyrolyx AG’s appearance at this year’s Tire Technology Expo (TTE) in Cologne was “very successful”, the company reported last week.
Pyrolyx is currently working with more than ten international tire manufacturers on various laboratory tests and field trials to study the use of Pyrolyx Carbon Black in tire production. At the TTE alone, another four global manufacturers signalled their interest in conducting trials with Pyrolyx Carbon Black.
In addition, following the successful conclusion of laboratory and field testing, precise master specifications for future commercial orders have already been agreed with the first tire manufacturers.
The Munich-based firm is currently working on the final engineering phase for the first two full-scale tire recycling plants in Europe, one of which is due to open this year before ramping up to full production in 2015.
