    ERJ staff report (TP)

Hanover, Germany − Continental Commercial Specialty Tires (CST) announced last week it had appointed Thorsten A. Bublitz as new Business-Line Manager Agro, effective 1 January.

In this role he will be supervising the international expansion of all agricultural activities. In addition to his comprehensive sales background with agricultural tires Bublitz also has longstanding experience with the Continental AG. He reports to Dr. Michael Maertens, Managing Director of the business unit Continental CST.

“With Thorsten A. Bublitz we gained an international experienced manager for our agricultural product”, said Maertens. “We will extend and enlarge our product range and customer service portfolio in the next years. Our strategy is to offer customised solutions for special requirements in promising markets. The growth market for agricultural equipment is one of the segments, where our clients benefit from our many years of experience and worldwide capabilities.”

In 2013 Continental CST launched a new tire portfolio for the harbour business and plans significant investments for the underground mining product portfolio over the coming years.
