Magna Tyres gets exclusive dealer in Baltic States
ERJ staff report (TP)
Waalwijk, the Netherlands − Magna Tyres, the Dutch manufacturer of off-the-road (OTR), industrial and truck tires, announced on 3 December that tire wholesaler SIA Latakko in Latvia is their new exclusive distributor for the Baltic States. This strategic agreement forms an important step to get Magna further introduced on the OTR-tire market in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia.
Before this agreement for dealership, Magna Tyres and SIA Latakko already had a “steady and fruitful business cooperation for several years”. Based on this “very positive experience”, both companies agreed on the exclusive dealership to increase the sales of Magna mobile crane tires, earthmover tires and port handling tires in the Baltic region.
Hein de Wind, Sales Director at Magna Tyres Group, said: “We found the ideal partner in Latakko to further expand our OTR and industrial tire activities in the Baltic countries. In addition to the pleasant cooperation with Latakko, which was established in 2007, the great advantage of Latakko as strategical partner in this region is their extensive tire warehouse, to provide the customers with the right tires on the shortest notice.”
Magna’s headquarters is in Waalwijk, the Netherlands and it currently has 10 sales offices worldwide, while its products are running in more than 110 countries.
