Trelleborg movie highlights farm tire history
ERJ staff report (BC)
Trelleborg, Sweden – Trelleborg has launched a 3D animated movie which is available on YouTube. The movie tells the life story of a cartoon cricket who starts his own agricultural business and miniature farm.
The story follows the cricket ‘farmer’ down the decades from 1955, progressing through successive tractor generations and their associated tires, from cross-plies to the latest radials.
3 000 visitors to the SIMA 2013 agricultural show in Paris previewed the movie with polarised glasses.
Lorenzo Ciferri, Marketing Director Agricultural & Forestry Tires at Trelleborg Wheel Systems, said: “Our 3D film will allow our customers to experience an amazing journey and look at the performance of Trelleborg products from a totally different perspective. We wanted to bring advanced and modern entertainment tools into our business, with a goal of sharing the Trelleborg vision for the future of agriculture with farmers and contractors.”
