ERJ staff report (BC)
Croydon, UK - European Rubber Journal and its publisher Crain Communications are launching Future Tire, a new conference programme for 2013, taking place at Le Meriden Hotel, Brussels, on 4-5 June 2013.
The conference will discuss the dynamics of the tire industry, and supply and demand for raw materials including natural rubber, synthetics and alternative ingredients.
Pressing environmental issues surrounding the tire and its recycling will be addressed.
How the tire of the future looks will naturally depend on the car of the future, so trends in automotive technology will be considered.
The conference will examine the current retail revolution in tire sales and service, tire label legislation and marketing.
There will be an insurance provider's perspective on compliance with standards relating to tire manufacture and fitting.
