Komaki City, Japan - Tokai Rubber Industries (TRI) will acquire the entire share capital of Dynamic Fluid Technologies (Dytech), an automotive hose manufacturer headquartered in Turin, Italy, subject to regulatory clearance, TRI has announced in a press release.
TRI makes automotive hoses in Japan as well as in seven other countries, mostly in North America and Asia. The Dytech acquisition will further TRI's expansion into Europe, an important market for Japanese OEMs, and into expanding markets in South America with local production for a new customer base.
