London - Rubber prices were mixed during Friday's trading. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract rose by 2 yen to trade just above yen 260 ($3.14) in late trading on Friday 30 November. Shorter-dated prices also rose, to trade around yen 249 (from 245).
In Singapore, the May 2013 TSR20 contract on SGX closed was trading up 1 at just over $2.86 in late trading on Friday evening; December 2012 prices were trading up at $2.85 (from $2.79).
In India, NMCE said December prices fell to close just at Rs 171 ($3.19). January prices closed at Rs 173 (from 177).
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange contract for the January 2013 closed down by a fraction of a yuan at just below Yuan 23.7 ($3.80) per kilo on Friday. Prices for March 2013 were also down to close just below yuan 23.8 (from 23.9).
