Copping succeeding Shaw as editor of European Rubber Journal
ERJ staff report (R&PN)
London-Crain Communications Ltd. has appointed Barry Copping, features editor at Crain's Plastics & Rubber Weekly, as editor of European Rubber Journal, succeeding David Shaw, who has resigned.
Copping, who has been with PRW for three years, will take his new post on Dec. 3. Before joining Crain, he was an editor in the construction, metals and machinery sectors.
Shaw has been editor for nearly 24 years of the bimonthly magazine that covers Europe's rubber manufacturing industry.
"We are of course sorry to lose David as he has an exceptional knowledge of the rubber sector built up over many years, and we wish him well in his future endeavors," said Steve Crowhurst, managing director/publishing and events director.
ERJ, PRW and Rubber & Plastics News all are owned by Crain Communications Inc.
