London - Rubber prices moved a little higher during Wednesday's trading. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract moved up slightly to trade at just below yen 258 ($3.14) on Wednesday 21 November. Shorter-dated prices were up strongly by 7 yen, trading around yen 248 (from 241).
In Singapore, the May 2013 TSR20 contract on SGX was trading slightly up at just below $2.88 in late trading on Wednesday evening; December 2012 prices were also little changed at $2.82 (from $2.81).
In India, NMCE said December prices eased a little to close just below Rs 174 ($3.16). January prices closed at Rs 176 (from 177).
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange contract for the January 2013 closed unchanged at Yuan 24.6 ($3.94) per kilo on Wednesday. Prices for March 2013 edged downwards to close at yuan 24.8 (from 24.9).
