London - Rubber prices were increased during Monday's trading. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract rose by 7 yen to close at just below yen 256 ($3.15) on Monday 19 November. Shorter-dated priceswere also up by around 4, trading around yen 242 (from 238).
In Singapore, the May 2013 TSR20 contract on SGX was trading just below $2.86 in late rading on Monday evening; December 2012 prices were trading up 2 at $2.81 (from $2.79).
In India, NMCE said December prices closed down 1 at just below Rs 171 ($3.11). January prices closed at Rs 173 (from 175).
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange contract for the January 2013 closed up 0.3 at Yuan 24.7 ($3.96) per kilo on Monday. Prices for March 2013 closed just above yuan 24.8 (from 24.6).
