London - Rubber prices moved slightly down overnight. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract rose by nearly 2 yen to trade at just below yen 246 ($3.10) on Friday 09 November. Shorter-dated prices also rose to trade around yen 234 (from 233).
In Singapore, the April 2013 TSR20 contract on SGX was trading up 2 cents at $2.81 a few minutes before the close on Friday evening; December 2012 prices were trading level at around at $2.76 (from $2.76).
In India, NMCE said November prices closed down 2 at just below Rs 174 ($3.19). December prices also eased by 2 to close at Rs 175.
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange contract for November closed unchanged at just below Yuan 23.4 ($3.74) per kilo on Friday. Prices for January 2013 rose by half a yuan to close at yuan 24.3 (from 23.7).
