London - Rubber prices moved slightly down overnight. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract eased by 4 yen to trade at just above yen 244 ($3.05) on Thursday 08 November. Shorter-dated prices also fell to close at yen 233 (from 238).
In Singapore, the April 2013 TSR20 contract on SGX was trading down 4 cents at $2.79 a few minutes before the close on Thursday evening; December 2012 prices were also trading down at around at $2.76 (from 2.78).
In India, NMCE said November prices closed down slightly at just below Rs 176 ($3.23). December prices also eased fractionally to close just above Rs 177.
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange contract for November eased slightly to close down 1 at just below Yuan 23.4 ($3.74) per kilo on Thursday. Prices for January 2013 were also lower to close at yuan 23.7 (from 24.1).
