Goodyear, Danisco publish patent on bio-isoprene

Washington DC - Goodyear and Danisco have been granted US patent no 8288148 covering methods for producing isoprene from cultured cells. The invention also provides compositions that include these cultured cells.
The patent was originally filed on 15 Dec 2008 and was published on 16 Oct 2012. It is scheduled to expire on 15 Dec 2028.
