NR prices fall overnight

London - Rubber prices fell sharply overnight. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract were trading down 10 at just above yen 255 ($3.22) in late trading on Friday 19 October. Shorter-dated prices also fell to trade around yen 247.

In Singapore, the April 2013 TSR20 contract on SGX was trading down by around 3 percent at $2.91 in late trading on Friday evening; November 2012 prices were 8 cents lower at $2.88.

In India, NMCE said November prices closed down by 1 rupee to closeat Rs 184 ($3.41). December prices also eased to close just above Rs 184.

In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange contract for November fell by 0.6 to close at Yuan 24.2 ($3.87) per kilo on Friday. Prices for January 2013 also fell by 0.7 to yuan 24.9.
