Linglong to build plant in Thailand

London -- Shandong Linglong Tyre Co. Ltd. Plans to build a new car tyre plant in Thailand. The unit will be located in Hemaraj Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estate, about 150km east of Bangkok in Thailand's Rayong province
The unit is expected to make radial tyres for passenger cars and light trucks with an investment of 3,500 million baht (€88m/ £70.7m). Construction of the plant will start in January 2013 and should be completed by January 2014. Linglong expects to begin production from June 2014, at a capacity of 2 million units per year.â€
