London - Rubber prices eased somewhat over the weekend. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract were trading down 5 at yen 253 ($3.24) near the end of the evening session on Monday. Shorter-dated prices were trading at yen 250 on Monday evening.
In Singapore, the March 2013 TSR20 contract on SGX fell by around 3 to trade around at $2.90; October 2012 prices were up - by 1 -- at $2.87 toward the end of the Monday evening session.
In India, NMCE said October prices rose by 6 to close just above Rs 193 ($3.62). November prices also rose by 5 to close just under at Rs 192.
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange contract for October closed down at Yuan 23.0 ($3.64) per kilo on Monday. November prices were also weaker, to close at yuan 23.1.
