NR prices rise on Friday

London - Rubber prices were stronger on Friday 21 September. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract were trading up 5 at yen 258 ($3.30) near the end of the evening session on Friday. Shorter-dated prices plunged by around 11 yen, at yen 240 on Friday evening.
In Singapore, the March 2013 TSR20 contract on SGX recovered some of yesterday's losses to trade around at $2.93; October 2012 prices were also up - by 2 -- at $2.86 toward the end of the Friday evening session.
In India, NMCE said October prices fell by 3 to close just above Rs 187 ($3.50). November prices also fell by 3 to close just under at Rs 187.
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange contract for October closed slightly up at Yuan 23.4 ($3.71) per kilo on Friday. November prices were also stronger, to close at yuan 23.6.
