London - Rubber prices were trading well above $3/kg on Monday 17 September. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract closed at yen 259 ($3.30) after the day session on Monday. Shorter-dated prices closed at yen 242 on Monday afternoon.
In Singapore, the March 2013 TSR20 contract on SGXwas trading at around $2.94.5; October 2012 priceswere trading around $2.91 toward the end of the Monday evening session.
In India, NMCE said October prices closed just above Rs 194 ($3.59). November prices closed at Rs 193.
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange contract for September closed at Yuan 23.2 ($3.67) per kilo on Monday. October prices closed at yuan 23.3.
