Lanxess added to DAX 30 members

Leverkusen, Germany - Lanxess AG will become a member of the German blue-chip stock market index, DAX 30, from 24 Sept 2012. The closing price of Lanxess stock was Euro 60, 5 Sept.
Axel Heitmann, chairman of the Board of Management of Lanxess said the company was delighted to be now included among the 30 largest listed companies in Germany.
"It is a proud moment for all of us and a challenge to our goal of profitable growth continues to consistently pursue. My thanks to all our employees worldwide, without whose tireless efforts we would not have gotten this far," he said in a 5 Sept news release.
