Holz Rubber buys Airboss unit, Caliber

Lodi, California -- Holz Rubber Company has acquired Caliber Industries, as well as assets from Canadian-based Airboss' Industrial Division.
Along with the additional technical expertise and staff, these acquisitions include both injection and compression moulding presses along with other essential equipment necessary to better meet customer needs.
Caliber Industries, currently located in Gladstone, Michigan, is in the process of moving to Holz's manufacturing plant in Lodi, CA. Equipment from Airboss' Industrial Division will move to the Lodi manufacturing plant from Ontario, Canada in coming months.
Holz said, “This strategic move allows Holz to expand its custom moulding division by increasing capabilities, capacities, and delivery speed. Additionally, the expertise and capabilities gained will allow Holz to serve a wider variety of customers and industries. Injection moulding presses can produce rubber products with a high level of efficiency and precision. Along with its existing compression moulding equipment and now the injection moulding, Holz can mould rubber into nearly any desired form and compete on a global basis.â€
