Goodyear signs multi-year deal to buy SBR from Synthos

Oswiecim, Poland -- Polish rubber manufacturer Synthos SA has signed a multi-year deal to supply E-SBR and S-SBR to Goodyear. In a stock exchange filing, Synthos said the deal is worth around euro 900 million and the first phase extends until the end of 2018. The deal can be extended after that.
The selling price is based on a formula which takes into account raw materials prices and on-going market prices. No further details were available as ERJ posted this story.
