French Oil Mill to move TMP unit to Piqua
ERJ staff report (R&PN)
Piqua, Ohio -- French Oil Mill Machinery Co. will move its TMP Inc. division from its offices in Cleveland to French Oil's headquarters and manufacturing facility in Piqua effective Aug. 8.
French Oil purchased TMP in 2009 and the company said this move will improve customer service and support. “There will be no changes in the design or high quality you expect from French or TMP hydraulic presses, replacement parts or service,†said Chairman and President Daniel French.
Members of both sales teams are expected to continue their work with customers, with many remaining in their current positions.
Douglas Smith will continue as sales engineer, working in sales and project management in hydraulic presses for the compaction, friction and lamination industries.
Vice President David Sledz will continue sales and project management of hydraulic presses for the rubber, composite and laboratory markets, in addition to TMP line of rubber mixers.
Joe Antku, who has been the aftermarket spare parts and service representative, now will work with all French and TMP hydraulic press customers on service and parts needs. He also handles rebuild, retrofit, maintenance and calibration services.
French designs, makes and services hydraulic presses and turnkey systems for the composite, friction, lamination and rubber industries. TMP supplies its line of technologically advanced hydraulic presses, rubber mixers, related components, controls, and auxiliary equipment.
