London - Rubber prices headed upwards overnight. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract closed up 2 at yen 237 ($2.98) on Wednesday 27 June. Shorter-dated prices closed down 1 at yen 233 on Wednesday. evening.
In Singapore, the TSR20 contract on SGX was trading up a cent at $2.80 for December deliveries on Wednesday; July prices closed higher at around $2.80 after evening trading.
In India, NMCE said July prices were trading up by a rupee at Rs 185 ($3.23). August prices also edged upwards, at Rs 182.
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange contract for July closed unchanged at Yuan 22.9 ($3.60) per kilo on Wednesday. August prices were slightly higher at yuan 22.9.
