Marangoni claims all its consumer tyres have labels
ERJ staff report (DS)
Essen, Germany - Marangoni Tyres has released a stack of news from its stand at the Essen Reifen show.
Unusually among tyre makers, the company has not used its press releases to focus on the EU tyre label. Instead, the independent Italian tyre maker focusses on its retread activity. The company issued a series of press releases (below)
Marco Spinella, marketing manager for Marangoni's car tyres told ERJ that the company is the only one at the show with all its tyres labelled according to the EU rules. He attacked his rivals for showing limited numbers of tyres with the label, and others for claiming that they did not know enough to put labels on their tyres
Marangoni's Ringtread Black line is a range of silica-filled retread products.
The company said it has, for the first time, entered the segment of pneumatic tyres for telescopic handlers used in industry, construction and agriculture.
In terms of retreading Luca Mai, Executive Sales Manager of the Marangoni Group's Commercial & Earthmover Tyres division said, “Marangoni offers different products for all the applications in which performance is paramount; such as the tyres developed for the loader of the MH Extra series, whose treads are 20% deeper than the standard ones offered. “
