NR prices fall 5 percent in Tokyo

London - Rubber prices fell further overnight. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract were down around 5 percent, to trade around yen 251 ($3.20) in late trading on Friday 01 June. Shorter-dated prices were also trading down 3 at 260 on Friday evening.
In Singapore, the TSR20 contract on SGX was down 9 at $3.08 for December deliveries in late trading on Friday; July prices were also down by 7, at 308.
In India, NMCE said June prices were unchanged at Rs 197 ($3.52). July prices also did not move significantly, to close a whisker above Rs 200
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange contract for June fell by nearly half a yuan to close at Yuan 24.0 ($3.77) per kilo on Friday. July prices closed down by about a third of a yuan at yuan 24.0
