London - Rubber prices continued their recent slide overnight. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract were trading down 6 at yen 267 ($3.32) on Wednesday 16 May. Shorter-dated prices however, were trading down 2 at yen 255 on Wednesday evening.
In Singapore, the TSR20 contract on SGX was trading down 7 at $3.25 for November deliveries in late trading on Wednesday, while June deliveries were also down by 7 cents at about $3.25 in trading during the evening session.
In India, NMCE said June prices were up by a rupee at Rs 196 ($3.62)
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange contract for May closed down by almost a yuan at Yuan 24.8 ($3.92) per kilo on Wednesday.
