Point S expands into South Africa
ERJ staff report (LMH)
London - Tyre dealer association Point S Development is launching in South Africa, in line with its international development strategy. The association has signed a partnership with the South African independent purchasing group, Unity Tyre Trading Pty (UTT).
UTT, founded in 2009, gathers 11 members with 18 outlets mainly situated in Gauteng (Johannesburg) and Mpumalanga (north-east) provinces. All members have a strong and long-term experience in the tyre business, Point S said in a May news release.
This is Point S's first partnership in the African continent, it said. The plan is to quickly grow the current association to a network of 30 outlets spread in the main economic regions of the country.
