NR prices resume downward trend

London - Rubber prices resumed their downward trend overnight. Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract were trading down 10 at yen 283 ($3.55) on Friday 11 May. Shorter-dated prices were also hit, to trade at around yen 270 on Friday evening.
In Singapore, the TSR20 contract on SGX was trading down 9 at $3.42 for November deliveries in late trading on Friday, while June deliveries were also down, but only by 5 cents at about $3.44 in trading during the evening session.
In India, NMCE said May deliveries closed up 2 at Rs 192 ($3.58).
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange contract for May closed down by a fractino of a yuan at Yuan 27.0 ($4.27) per kilo on Friday.
