London - Rubber prices fell further overnight on fears of problems in the eurozone. Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract were trading down 8 at yen 291 ($3.65) on Wednesday 09 May. Shorter-dated prices fell yen 7 to trade at around yen 278 just before the close on Wednesday evening.
In Singapore, the TSR20 contract on SGX was trading down 10 at $3.48 for November deliveries in late trading on Wednesday, while June deliveries were also down 9 at about $3.48 in trading during the evening session.
In India, NMCE said May deliveries closed unchanged at Rs 191 ($3.56).
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange contract for May closed down half a yuan at Yuan 27.6 ($4.37) per kilo on Wednesday.
