London -- Rubber prices moved marginally downwards during Tuesday's trading. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract moved down by about a yen at yen 316 ($4.06) per kg on 14 February. Shorter-dated prices also fell by a couple of yen to trade above yen 300 at yen 302 just before the close on Monday.
In Singapore, the TSR20 contract on SGX was trading down by a couple of cents at $3.79 for July deliveries and unchanged at $3.76 for March deliveries a couple of hours before the close on Tuesday.
In India, NMCE said February deliveries closed down by a rupee at Rs 188 ($3.81).
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange contract for March moved down by a fraction of a yuan to close at Yuan 29.1 ($4.62) per kilo .
