London -- Rubber prices increased once more, after recent losses. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract were trading up by 9 yen at yen 319 ($4.18) per kg at the close of trading on Tuesday 31 January. Shorter-dated prices rose through yen 300, to close up 5 yen at yen 303.
In Singapore, the TSR20 contract on SGX was trading up 8 cents at $3.82 for June deliveries and up 6 cents at $3.76 for February deliveries a few minutes before Tuesday's close.
In India, NMCE said February deliveries fell by 3 Rs to close down one at Rs 190 ($3.85).
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange contract for March recovered by half a yuan to close at Yuan 28 ($4.44) per kilo .
