Yulex claims more patent protections

Phoenix Arizona -- Yulex Corp has said it has been awarded patents in many countries covering methods of extracting latex and resins from the desert shrub Guayule. patenrs are directed toward cultivation, harvesting, and the mechanical and chemical extraction of top quality latex.

The patents have been issued by the patent offices respectively of the US, Europe, Mexico and South Africa. Yulex said it beleives it can grow the shrub in parts of Greece, Cyprus, Spain, France, Italy and Portugal
