NR prices ease overnight

London -- Rubber prices fell overnight. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract was trading down yen2 at yen 261 ($3.41) per kg a few minutes before the close on Wednesday 04 January. Shorter-dated prices were up by around yen 3, trading at yen 249.
In Singapore, TSR20 for June delivery was trading down $0.02 at $3.30 just before the close, while short-dated contracts fell by $0.08, to $3.22.
In India, NMCE said January deliveries recover to test Rs200 overnight, to close at Rs 199 ($3.75).
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange saw January 2012 deliveries down by a fraction of a yuan to close at Yuan 26.4 ($4.19) per kilo.
