London -- Rubber prices rose by about 5 percent overnight. On Tokyo's
Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract closed up 13 yen
yen 280 ($3.60) per kg on Thursday 01 December. Shorter-dated prices were
up by about yen 5 at yen 263.
In Singapore, SGX said RSS3 for delivery in May 2012 also closed strongly up
at $3.58. TSR20 for March delivery was up $0.10 at $3.39.
In India, NMCE said December deliveries were unchanged, to close at Rs 197 ($3.82).
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange saw January 2012 deliveries
increase by nearly a yuan to close at Yuan 27.0 ($4.25) per kilo.
