London -- Rubber prices rose strongly over the weekend. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract closed up 8 at yen 271 ($3.49) per kg on Monday 28 Nov. Shorter-dated prices were also up at yen 255.
In Singapore, SGX said RSS3 for delivery in March 2012 closed up $0.18 at $3.39. TSR20 for March delivery was up 0.05 at $3.32.
In India, NMCE said December deliveries were unchanged, to close at Rs 193 ($3.71).
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange saw January 2012 deliveries rise by a fraction of a yuan to close at Yuan 26.2 ($4.11) per kilo.
