Milliken acquires US silane maker

Spartanburg, South Carolina -- Milliken & Company has completed the acquisition of SiVance, LLC, a privately-held provider of speciality silane, silicone and siloxane intermediates located in Gainesville, Florida. SiVance, which will become a subsidiary of Milliken & Company, will complement Milliken's existing portfolio of speciality performance chemicals. In total, approximately 150 associates are joining Milliken following the acquisition.
