London -- Rubber prices rose slightly overnight, bringing prices back above $4. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract increased by about 5 yen, to trade around yen 308 ($4.02) per kg on Thursday 05 Oct. Shorter-dated prices also increased, to trade around at yen 300.
In Singapore, SGX said RSS3 prices for March delivery continued to trade above the $4 barrier to close at $414. TSR20 for delivery in February 2012 also recovered further to trade around $4.09.
