HPL seeks partners to build EPDM, SBR plant in India - report

Haldia, West Bengal, India - senior executives from Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd reportedly said the comapny is seeking technology partners to build plants for EPDM, SBR and other materials in India.
A series of Indian papers reported that HPL vice-chairman Purnendu Chatterjee, who is also the chairman of The Chatterjee Group (TCG), speaking yesterday (Monday), saying, "In some products, we need technical partners and they will ask for equity in the project as the technology is a very critical one,"
Chatterjee reportedly proposed products including EPDM, Butine 1, SBR and Maleic Anhidryde.
