Hankook showcases portfolio at Auto Shanghai 2011

Seoul -- Hankook is to present its portfolio at the forthcoming Auto Shanghai event, as part of its plans to maintain a leadership position in China, the company said in a 19 April statement.
The Korean tyre-maker said it will display its premiere Ventus S1 Noble tyre on offer to the Chinese market for the first time, alongside 16 other products including the DTM-supplied Ventus F2000 and Ventus Z207
Hyun Shick Cho, Chief Marketing Officer of Hankook Tire, said “Hankook Tire is reacting fast to changing Chinese market and consumer trends through development of innovative products and active marketing efforts.â€
He added, “Auto Shanghai 2011 will serve as a great platform for us to showcase our commitment and confidence toward sustainable growth and world class technology.â€
Currently Hankook supplies 30 automakers in China, the company said, and plans to set up its third plant in Liang Jiang Xin Qu by 2014.
Auto Shanghai 2011, now in its 14th year, is due to take place from 21-28 April.
