Fayetteville struck by tornado - Goodyear facility damaged

Fayetteville, North Carolina - A series of tornados swept through the Fayetteville region on Saturday afternoon. One of them damaged the Goodyear tyre factory there, according to local reports.
The FayObserver carries extensive reports on the tornado-inflicted damage, including one death and 85 injuries in the town and surrounding areas.
The paper said operations at the Goodyear plant in the town were temporarily suspended on Saturday and Sunday, but were expected to resume yesterday (Sunday) evening at 7pm local time.
A Goodyear spokesman was quoted as saying that a wall in the northwest corner of the plant near its powerhouse was damaged.
Billy Taylor, plant manager was quoted saying, "Our first consideration was the safety of the workforce. We are thankful there were no serious injuries resulting from the storm."
